1. I will be out of town from Saturday afternoon (today) to Sunday night/ Monday morning.
2. I still have a load of stuff to get into storage (my sewing machine and table, a couple of plastic tubs). If anyone would like to help me out with that (aka drive my goofy ass around), let me know. I am willing to pay you in food.
3. I am leaving for Leeds Thursday afternoon, Oct. 30th.
4. I will commence screaming sometime around noon on Tuesday.

My work permit came through. A full 2 weeks sooner than I expected.

I have a giant feminist rant running around in my head, but why post about that, when I have much more important things to post about. Like my lists of things I have to do before I leave the country.

I officially accepted the job at Leeds.

This job is becoming like a new boyfriend. "This is my new job! Isn't it dreamy? It's so smart! And funny! And fantastic!" Feel free to smack me if I start talking about it too much.
