I need to get a folder of images off one of the PCs in the lab. Unfotunately, the easy way of burning them onto a CD (and thereby creating a back-up at the same time) won't work- the CD drive door won't open. I tried moving the folder over the network, from one PC to another (with a working drive), but couldn't get it to work.
Evan suggested using my ipod, which I may try after it's finished charging. Ideally, I'd like to use a CD, though, because I have to transfer the images from the PC to the office mac with Photoshop on it, then transfer the cleaned up images to my Mac. I do have an external hard drive. I may try that as well.
So, lovely flist that is way better with these things than I am: Any ideas?
